This building built in the 1930's was demolished in 2016 after the property was purchased.
The Acme Staple Company opened it's doors in 1643 on Haddon Avenue, but moved to a 40 acre site in Frankilin, New Hampshire in 1959 leaving this building to find a new owner. -http://www.dvrbs.com/camden/CamdenNJ-AcmeStaple.htm One of my small towns in South Jersey.
It is sad to see the general store and other buildings falling into disrepair. I would have liked to see this town when it had a thriving business district. This old house must have been gorgeous before it fell into disrepair. I love the octagonal tower on the right side of the house. "This is the Adams House. Lewis Adams, born in 1864 married Olive Verginia Cale (1867), daughter of Captain John Cale in 1893. He built this home in the 1890's where the family lived for 25 years. He was the schoolmaster at the Lower Bank school." They don't make houses like this anymore.
