So this set of photos comes from a trip my father and I took way back in 2011. We had to stop at his friend's house in Delaware and on our way home a road caught my eye. It looked like no one ever travels down it anymore. So of course we had to check it out and what we found was completely unexpected. We stopped to take a photograph this road to nowhere and suddenly a car comes driving towards us from the direction the I was pointing the camera. The women asked if we needed help and we told her we were fine and were just taking some photos. She told us to follow her because she has an old barn we could photograph. So we did. We found out that is she the care taker of a large piece of land. She lives in a 100 year old house and the property has a barn, a cemetery, a tower, and a few other historic houses. This house might have belonged to the family who were buried in the cemetery, which was located down a wooded path behind it.
