I have developed an obsession with railroad tracks. I just love researching the history and discovering where tracks go and where they meet up with other tracks. This particular track is still in use. It is not a frequently used track, but used twice a day to haul cargo.
While following the track I veered off to the side and followed a path in the woods. The path led to this little forgotten cemetery. Graved date back to the early 1800's.
I brought my nephew with me this time around. He had a half day of school and these tracks were found near his house. The exploring bug is spreading to him. He even wanted to take some pictures of his own. I let him try out my camera. Sorry not gonna show the pictures he took because they were of me. lol
Some great graffiti on the tunnel too.
