Going on day trips are one of my favorite activities. When we got a 70 degree day in December and it was on my day off from my part-time job, I took full advantage of the gorgeous weather. My father and I decided to head north on our trip ending up in Central Jersey, across the the river from New Hope, PA. You can't tell from my photo, but we had blue skies and light cloud cover all day. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. We stopped in every small town along the way. I love how these little towns preserve all the buildings. They restore them and find new purpose for them such as this old train station(pictured above), which was made into a restaurant. I had to stop and take a photo of an object caught that my eye as we walked past this home on one of the side roads in town. There was a fake skull just sitting on the window sill.
And I had to photograph my father who always takes shots of me when I am busy taking my own photos on our trips. lol |
