Just about a year ago we made the trip to the shore thinking we would find something neat to take photos of and we found it. First stop was what looks like a type of silo being engulfed by nature. Next was the beach and lighthouse. We walked around the the nature preserve area and finally braved the steep walk up to the top of the lighthouse. Can't make a day trip with one or in this case two photos of my dad. He hates it when I take his photo and I LOVE it! Interesting geometric patterns in the staircase. On the way home we pasted a fairly normal sight if you normally take Route 9 through New Gretna, NJ. The Mansion on this property dates back to the 1800's and is on over 50 acres of land. Since these images were taken it has been announced that the owners are trying to sell the property, but they want sum huge amount. Here is the listing... http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5847-Route-9-Tuckerton-NJ-08087/69520694_zpid/ There is a Weird NJ write up about this property... http://weirdnj.com/stories/fantastical-former-farmhouse-of-route-9/ Finally, we pass another usual sight. Old junk yard that no one is allowed to go in so we took some photos from the outside from the car.
